We believe in training. Regardless of the state laws on carrying a firearm; it is imperative that people are trained before they enter the public domain with guns.

First Time Gun Owner Specialists
We are not your typical gun dealer. We don't have an inventory of guns to choose from. We believe that you should take your time on deciding if and why you want to buy a firearm and which kind you need. We want to meet with you in a private consultation to help select the ideal firearm for your needs. At that point we will special order the firearm(s). When the firearm(s) arrive, fill out paperwork (Form 4473), go through your background check and you will be ready to go. Nothing about the firearm business should be rushed.
Special Order Items
Whether you are an intermediate or avid gun owner or collector. We will special order any firearm including NFA items to add to your collection.
Sticking to OUR guns
Our mission is two fold:
We want to responsibly embrace your right to keep and bear arms, encourage you to practice and train with your firearms so that you can enjoy the recreational sport of shooting as well as protect yourself and your loved ones.
We also know that our great country is not the gun slinging wild west and want to be involved in the discussion about common-sense gun legislation. We want to be a beacon of knowledge for curious minds to discuss these serious matters outside the arena of radical political extremes.
We are not members of the NRA :)
Private Party Sales
It is currently legal do sell or give away a firearm, but its not really very smart. If you wish to ethically transfer a firearm using our shop as a broker, we would be happy help with that, complete with an FBI NICS background check to ensure the purchaser is legally permitting to have a firearm.
Gun Violence
Gun violence and mass shootings are top of mind issues in our country. Americans are anomalously over represented in this category, McGovern Loving Arms LLC is the only gun shop dedicated to participating in realistic fact finding for consideration in helping inform the public and our clients about gun violence and mass shootings.
